Here is a list of IEBUPDTE offloaded files containing various libraries that we are making available for people to download and use.
The files should be file transfered up to a z/OS system as ASCII files with a logical record length of 80 (LRECL). None of the files should take more than a
just a few tracks.
Once the files are on the desired z/OS system they should be rebuilt using the IBM supplied utility IEBUPDTE.
Sample IEBUPDTE Offload File Rebuild JCL
//IEBUPDTE JOB
//REBUILD EXEC PGM=IEBUPDTE,PARM=NEW
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSUT2 DD DISP=(,CATLG),UNIT=SYSALLDA,SPACE=(80,(5,1,4)),
// DSN=your.output.dataset.to.create,VOL=SER=vvvvvv,
// RECFM=FB,LRECL=80,BLKSIZE=0,DSORG=PO
//SYSIN DD DISP=SHR,DSN=your.input.iebupdte.offload.file
