| This is the load library contain the Abbydale Systems LLC standard date routine as used by many Abbydale Systems programs. ASLDATER is released as an Object Code Only (OCO) program. | ASLDAYCC is a program that will set a condition code based upon the day of the week that a job is running. This program requires ASLDATER to be installed and available. | ASLIPVLD is a program that will validate the format of a passed IP Address. The validation will also include the IP Port number (if passed) falls within the allowed number range. ASLIPVLD has an alias of VALIDIP. ASLIPVLD will check for the presence of a MESSAGE DD card. If one is present, it will display any errors in the job log, if no MESSAGE DD card is present then only a return code will be returned. Link to information page click here. | ||

| ASLPARMC is a program that will write the data passed to the program to the output file specified on the OUTPUT DD card. ASLPARMC can be used to make JCL streams more flexible by allowing symbolic parameters to be defined within control cards. Additionally ASLPARMC will replace any @JOBNAME found in the passed parameter with the name of the job actually executing the program. Link to information page click here. | ||

| This is a XMI file for the ASLWAIT program. ASLWAIT can be used to simulate a long running task as the program will run until a STOP command is issued for it (TIME parameter permitting of course). ASLWAIT also allows for messages to be issued at start-up, shutdown or both. This is particularly useful if you want to test out 'what if' scenarios for automation.
